If you’re one of the unfortunate people across the world who is dealing with a paranormal phenomenon known as the shadow people then you must have without a doubt a plethora of questions. Encounters with the terrifying spectacle known as a shadow person apparently are becoming increasingly a more common occurrence. As a person who has been involved with a shadow creature in some manner or form, you must have many questions and very few answers.
In fact, it is very possible that you may not even be sure if a shadow person has actually approached you. What they currently have packed in their head? Do they have emotions?
Where do they come from? Are they real enough to harm me or others I know? I can’t believe such a thing could really be happening. It can’t be real, can it? One question that comes up often is what do shadow people want. This is a question of utmost importance, whether these shadow figures are good or evil; we must ascertain what exactly they want with us.
Consequently, a major problem with answering this question is at the present time we don’t know exactly what these shadow people/creatures are. People and paranormal investigators alike seem to have a couple of theories of what these shadow figures could possibly be. I will mention them briefly because they will be discussed in more detail in future articles. One of the more prevalent theories is that shadow people are a type of evil ghost, demonic entities, interdimensional beings, astral beings, and even alien beings in disguise. In general, though the consensus is that shadow people are not benevolent but malevolent in nature. Consequently what shadow people want from us or do to us seems bleak to say the least.
There are various theories of what the shadow people want, I will list the more prevalent ones in no particular order. Shadow people are foreshadowing events that are harmful to the person who sees them and possibly even people who know this person such as family and friends. The other one is that they are soul collectors and are just hanging around until the one they are waiting for passes away. There are folks who believe shadow people/creatures are actually interdimensional beings who manifest in our dimension from time to time. Some believe these interdimensional travelers me no harm to us while others believe they are here to try to cause us harm and even to abduct us.
The Shadow People and the Grays: Another common theory is that shadow people are actually alien beings in disguise. Basically these aliens typically the grays have disguised themselves in these black silhouettes in order to frighten and break you down mentally and physically. They typically appear in the middle of the night under the cover of darkness on a somewhat regular basis. Many paranormal investigators and UFO researchers alike believe the end goal is to abduct people.
The most common theory which is brought up time after time is that shadow people are actually demonic entities whose sole purpose is to cause havoc upon our lives and in the people we love and trust. If these shadow figures are truly demonic or even just purely evil entities then they surely want us to suffer, to live in fear, refute our religion, and may even want our souls. My personal opinion is that these shadow creatures/people are generally evil in nature. Regardless if they are demonic or not their intentions are not good and should be never invited into our lives in any manner. If shadow people are evil entities, then what is their purpose? If they are demons then why do they not just attack us outright? What must they gain from dragging us into a mental and emotional war with these entities? This brings up a very good point. Can these shadow people really be demons? It would seem that if the answer is yes then they are doing everything in their power to make sure they get our attention, even if it means seducing us into their world.
What do shadow people represent? In conclusion, the meaning behind these shadows is pretty much endless. There are many theories as to what they actually represent and why they appear when they do. Some believe it’s the inner mind trying to manifest itself into the real world while others believe demons are going around possessing people and disguising themselves as these shadow beings. Only time will tell what these paranormal shadows really want. One thing is for sure though, they have been witnessed by thousands of people who have lived to tell the tale. Shadow people are one of those paranormal mysteries that are still being actively researched and studied today.

They are a warning to the family in some cases that someone is going to die. During the black plaque there were black figures with hoods and robes that appeared in the fields of each village before the plaque hit that village. They were an omen of death. I’ve seen the hooded one and a shadow person. They were not the same. The hooded one put off a sense of power. The regular shadow person didn’t.
I believe that you have to figure what it is, Demon I would say mostly but sometimes a trapped soul will pose as one to frighten you, though if you or your family have nightmares and even see it.
My sons and I have been seeing these for years. My 12 yr old says they’re evil cause of what they’ve told him they’ve done and what they say to him. He won’t tell me anything about what he says they’ve told him.
When my father was dying, my sister and I saw many shadow people, inside and outside the house. I believe they are drawn to death for whatever reason. One night I was really tired and was cooking supper, when a shadow person slipped around the room and stopped in a doorway to my right. He was black and his outline was jagged like lightening. I looked at him and he looked at me. I said, ” I am so tired I don’t care about you. I want you to know that this is a house where Jesus lives, so don’t bother us anymore.” I never saw or sensed a shadow person after that.

Demons, shadow people, and spirits are all different, keeping a few cloves of garlic on you helps keep the demons away, that is how I am able to tell them apart.. spirits usually are either roaming around and you can actually see them if gifted, they look just like their humanside only in spirit form, and shadow people, look just like shadows, but if gifted you can actually feel him/her presences as it is if right behind you..demons can be agressive, spirits too can be agressive, especially if inside you, they will use you to hurt yourself..demons, just depends on what they want…if contacted by either, don’t talk to it, get real help…ive experienced them at the same time..it’s freaky and scary and they do feed if fear they grow stronger..Stay safe and God bless..
I saw two shadow people who were standing beside my bed. One shorter than the other and both did not have human shape. They were short and darker than the darkness in my room, which was totally dark….I reached out to turn on my bedside lamp and couldn’t find it, as I was trying to turn on the light they both started slapping at my arm. Their hands were going right through my arm, but I felt nothing… I jumped up and ran to the end of my bed and jumped off and ran into the living room. There I told my stepson about it and he believed me. I moved away couple months later. I hope they can’t follow me….and no one died after I saw them…. don’t know why they would come to me, but my mom told me about a dark being looking into my little brother’s basinet beside the bed where my older brother and I were sleeping with my mom. It was back in the late fifties. My mom passed away about ten years ago…she told me about it when I was about nine years old. I am now sixty three years old. My little brother hung himself four years ago. He was the one in the basinet…. I saw the shadow people two years ago….still can’t figure out why they would come to me… They didn’t look like any of the pictures I have seen anywhere. Just wanted to put my story out there for other people who may have seen this kind of shadow people….,

I am scared to death at night. I see several shadows people all night long. They are dark shadows , some are woman but the majority are men.
At night while I’m laying in bed I can see them roaming in my kitchen, dinning room, and living room. Oh yeah the bathroom as well. Nobody will believes what I see. They call me crazy. They move slow until I get up & look in all they rooms. Then there gone just like that.. I even had a few test done to check my brain. Still waiting for the results. I also was referred to a Physc Dr & was put on 3or4 different physc meds. These sidings have been with me for 2+ years. I hate this house and I run out every chanse I can so I’m not here alone. Needless to say I don’t get much sleep. I lay in bed and just watch them. I’m actually afraid of my own house, being alone, and nobody believe me. Would anyone happen to know if they are actual shadow people. I think they are EVIL! I really can’t take much more.
